how bounties work

A practical guide to posting, completing, selecting, and paying MonkeMade bounties.

Post a specific task with a fixed reward. Monkes submit completed work. The creator chooses and pays a winner.

Bounties are for completed deliverables, not job applications. A bounty can ask for a logo, an app feature, a thread, a design, research, a project update, or any other clearly scoped piece of work.

how to post a bounty

  1. 1

    define the work

Set a specific deliverable, a clear brief, acceptance criteria, category, deadline, and fixed reward.

  2. 2

    choose the reward

Offer SOL, USDC, BONK, or ORE, or select a Saga Monke from the wallet you are using to create the bounty.

  3. 3

    choose selection

Use best submission when you will review the work. Use random draw when each eligible completed entry should have an equal chance.

  4. 4

    publish the bounty

Connect and verify a Saga Monke holder wallet, then submit. Newer creators may be reviewed by MonkeLegal before a bounty goes live.

  5. 5

    select and pay

After the deadline, select the winning work or run the draw. The original creator wallet sends the advertised reward within seven days.

how to submit work

  1. 1

    read the brief

Confirm that you can meet the scope and deadline before you start.

  2. 2

    finish the work

Create the requested logo, app feature, thread, design, research, repository, project update, or other deliverable.

  3. 3

    submit once

Add the completed-work link, then include notes or supporting links when they make the result easier to review. Each holder can enter a bounty once.

  4. 4

    track your entry

Your bounty desk shows the submission status. You can withdraw an unselected entry before the deadline.

rewards, selection, and payment

Token rewards. Token bounties use a fixed amount of SOL, USDC, BONK, or ORE. MonkeMade does not take custody: the original creator wallet sends the reward to the selected winner.

Saga Monke prizes. A creator can choose a Saga Monke held in their connected wallet as the reward. It stays there until the creator transfers that exact Monke to the winner after selection.

Verified payouts. A token payment or Saga Monke transfer is checked against the reward, creator, and winner before MonkeMade records it in the payout ledger.

Deadlines and selection. Entries close at the deadline. Best submission lets the creator choose a winner; random draw selects from eligible entries after the deadline.

The correction window. For 15 minutes after publishing, a creator can correct or delete a bounty only while there are no entries. Once an entry exists or the window ends, the terms are fixed.

Unpaid rewards. The creator has seven days after selecting a winner to record the payout. Once that period ends, the winner can use their bounty desk to send a private unpaid report to MonkeLegal for review.

what MonkeMade does and does not do

Holder-only participation. Creating, entering, reviewing, and paying bounties requires a connected, verified Saga Monke holder wallet.

No escrow. Rewards remain creator-funded until they are sent. MonkeMade records verified payment receipts; it does not hold bounty funds or prizes.

Public work, private reports. Bounty briefs, entries, winners, and verified payouts are visible on the site. An unpaid report is private to the winner and MonkeLegal.

Use the bounty desk. Creators manage entries, selection, and payment there. Entrants track their own submissions, withdraw unselected work, and report an overdue reward there.
