privacy policy
Last updated September 14, 2026.
This policy explains what MonkeMade handles when you browse the site, connect a wallet, submit content, or use holder tools.
information we handle
We handle the public wallet address you connect, signatures used to verify wallet control, and the profile, project, update, collaborator, vouch, bounty, and feedback information you submit. Public directory content, wallet addresses, and associated activity can be visible to other visitors.
We also process limited technical information needed to run and secure the service, including session data, request and rate-limit information, and transaction references used to record tips or bounty payout activity.
how we use it
We use this information to verify wallet control and holder eligibility, operate your session, publish and display content, prevent fraud and abuse, process submissions, maintain moderation records, provide notifications, and improve the reliability of MonkeMade.
cookies and local storage
MonkeMade uses an essential, HTTP-only session cookie after wallet verification. It expires after eight hours and lets the service recognize your verified session. The app may also store non-sensitive local browser data, such as a selected wallet preference, unfinished form drafts, and pending tip activity, so those features work between page loads.
where information goes
We share information only as needed to operate MonkeMade. Public content is displayed in the directory. Signed publishing requests are handled through the GitHub-based submission workflow. Depending on the live configuration, service providers may include hosting, database, cache, Solana RPC, and wallet-verification providers.
When you follow a project link, connect a wallet, make an on-chain payment, or use an external social platform, that third party handles information under its own policy.
retention and deletion
Verified session cookies expire after eight hours. Public profiles and project listings remain visible until they are removed through the service. We may retain submission and moderation records for as long as reasonably needed for security, abuse prevention, and operation of the GitHub-backed publishing history.
your choices
You can disconnect your wallet, clear browser storage, and remove eligible public content through MonkeMade’s management tools. Wallet activity recorded on a public blockchain cannot be erased by MonkeMade. If you have a privacy or data request, contact @monkemade on X.
changes to this policy
We may update this policy when MonkeMade’s features or data practices change. The current version will always be posted here with its updated date.
